Born in Anchorage, Alaska, twins Jack and Ben Baker began life facing extraordinary challenges. In their earliest days, both boys were diagnosed with autism, and Jack was also diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Doctors told the family Jack might never walk.

For Ben, that meant growing in independence — learning to help with everyday tasks like getting the mail and grocery shopping.
For Jack, Bridgeway’s physical therapy services were life-changing. His therapist designed a personalized program to build strength and confidence step by step. Before long, Jack was taking steps with a walker — across the playground and even up the stairs — milestones his doctors once said he would never reach.
